Overview

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Teleport is responsible for driving full adoption and expansion with key customers, ensuring they achieve maximum value from Teleport's software solutions throughout the customer lifecycle.

In Short

  • Drive customer adoption and expansion of Teleport products.
  • Provide technical support and assistance during customer onboarding.
  • Discuss architecture plans and deployment best practices with customers.
  • Identify and resolve technical blockers via chat, tickets, and meetings.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction throughout the onboarding process.
  • Work closely with Product and Development teams on customer escalations.
  • Develop and maintain training programs for new users.
  • Ensure compliance with security principles and technologies.
  • Engage in continuous learning and skill advancement.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in customer-facing software onboarding or system administration.
  • Linux administration skills.
  • Experience with major public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes; certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with security technologies (SSH, PKI, 2FA, SSO).
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
