Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Customer Support Specialist to join our client on the west coast. In this role, you will work closely with vendors and customers to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve a variety of customer issues related to provisioning, network connectivity, and broadband services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications and broadband services, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and support.

In Short

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers experiencing technical issues.
  • Work with customers and technicians to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Provide remote assistance to field technicians during service installations.
  • Analyze network logs and perform diagnostics to resolve technical issues.
  • Assist customers with service activation and configuration of broadband equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and resolutions.
  • Effectively escalate unresolved issues to higher-level teams.
  • Stay updated on company products and technologies.
  • Educate customers on best practices for optimizing broadband services.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in technical support or customer service.
  • Solid understanding of telco and broadband technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze complex issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with field technicians and support staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in a related field is a plus.
