Overview

TekCom Resources is seeking a dedicated Joint Use QC Project Specialist responsible for ensuring the successful integration and quality control of joint use agreements and projects for our client covering the Pacific Northwest. This position involves working with OCALC’s, Pole Apps, and Work Prints to ensure accurate submittal to pole owners. The Specialist will also be responsible for creating mark-ups/redlines, making decisions on make-ready requirements, and ensuring overall project quality and compliance. The role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to make informed decisions on infrastructure projects. This is a fully remote West Coast based role.

In Short

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures for joint use projects.
  • Review OCALC’s, Pole Apps, and Work Prints for accuracy before submission.
  • Make decisions on make-ready requirements based on project specifications.
  • Ensure timely submission of documents to pole owners and stakeholders.
  • Create and manage mark-ups/redlines on project documents.
  • Process Joint Use applications and maintain detailed logs.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all project documentation.
  • Provide guidance on project requirements and quality control procedures.
  • Assess and identify necessary adjustments for make-ready requirements.
  • Identify potential issues in project documentation and resolve them.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Excel, Smartsheet’s, SiteTracker, and other monitoring programs.
  • Experience with OCALC’s, Pole Apps, and Work Prints.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience managing joint use agreements and complex projects.
  • Working knowledge of NESC, NEC and OSHA standards.
  • Knowledge of Outside Plant Construction techniques.
