Overview

The Industry Lead at Teamshares will oversee a portfolio of small to mid-sized businesses in the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing sectors, focusing on financial performance and strategic alignment.

In Short

• Oversee a portfolio of 8–10 small to mid-sized businesses.
• Own P&L responsibility and manage financial performance.
• Coach and support business leaders.
• Track and drive KPIs across businesses.
• Develop growth plans and operational improvements.
• Serve as the main point of contact between companies and Teamshares.
• Identify and drive cross-portfolio synergies.
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in business leadership or portfolio management.
• Success in managing multiple P&L statements.
• Strong financial acumen in budgeting and forecasting.
• Preferred experience in industrial or skilled trades environments.
• Proven ability to lead through influence.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or engineering; MBA preferred.
