My Financial Partner (MFP) is seeking a Financial Controller to support a portfolio of restaurant and retail companies. This role involves driving financial clarity and optimizing operations for small businesses.

In Short

• Hands-on role focused on financial operations for restaurant and retail companies.
• Responsible for the full accounting cycle and financial reporting.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business presidents.
• Lead month-end and year-end closes and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reporting dashboards and variance analyses.
• Identify and implement process improvements in accounting systems.
• Maintain cash flow forecasts and recommend working capital solutions.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online, POS systems, and Excel.
• 5+ years of experience in a Controller or Senior Accounting role.
• CPA preferred, with a strong background in restaurant or retail accounting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a Controller or Senior Accounting role.
• Experience in restaurant or retail accounting, preferably multi-location.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable in remote environments.
• Strong communication skills to convey financial concepts.
