Overview

The Director of Strategic Partner Accounts will work with CDW to gain mindshare, increase technical, sales and services capabilities to achieve our sales targets. This role will own, develop, and execute the Business Plans with his/her partner(s).

In Short

  • Develop and execute Global Partner Business Plans for CDW.
  • Must have established relationships/experience working with CDW teams.
  • Develop executive level relationships to increase investment in Tanium business.
  • Support the GTM for the Integration of Tanium into CDW labs.
  • Proactively work with regional partner sales to develop regional plans.
  • Educate Tanium sales teams on partners' unique value propositions.
  • Plan and execute meetings/workshops to train CDW.
  • Develop marketing programs/events to drive demand for Tanium products.
  • Design and promote effective incentive programs.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of strategic partner business.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a partner sales role in IT Operations/IT Security.
  • Experience working with multi-billion-dollar partners.
  • Experience creating national or global partnerships.
  • Prior experience as a quota carrying sales rep for global accounts preferred.
  • Proactive style with hands-on problem-solving ability.
  • Effective communication with executive and technical roles.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to operate independently.
  • Ability to evangelize the Tanium message.
  • Desire to own all parts of a partner lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow and/or Microsoft practices is a plus.
