Compliance Audit Manager - Remote

Overview

Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the position of a full-time Compliance Audit Manager. This leadership role involves developing, managing, and maintaining the Compliance Internal Audit Program while ensuring adherence to consumer protection regulations.

In Short

• 5-7 years of banking compliance experience required.
• Must have experience with CFPB regulations.
• Leadership position within Internal Audit.
• Develop and implement compliance risk assessment methodologies.
• Coordinate with Internal Audit Director for audit plans.
• Manage internal and external audit staff.
• Report on audit activities to the Board of Directors.
• Assist in leading the Internal Audit team.
• Hybrid and fully remote options available.
• Salary range of $110,000 to $120,000 based on experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field or 10+ years of industry experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Audit or Internal Audit.
• Strong knowledge of banking regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop testing methodologies.
• Experience managing staff and/or external resources.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and objectivity.
• Ability to travel regularly.
• Relevant professional designations preferred (CIA, CRCM, CERP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
