Senior Systems Engineer - Remote

Overview

Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the full-time position of Senior Systems Engineer, responsible for managing and supporting enterprise systems and infrastructure.

In Short

• Participate in the design, planning, and implementation of enterprise systems.
• Provide day-to-day management and support for enterprise systems and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve technical issues.
• Promote best practices to improve system performance and security.
• Support and troubleshoot hardware and software problems on Windows Server platforms.
• Implement and support various platforms and systems tools.
• Provide consultation in life cycle planning and problem management.
• Translate business requirements into system designs.
• Develop and maintain systems in alignment with security controls.
• Adhere to Software Development Lifecycle policies and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 10+ years of IT experience.
• Able to script and automate processes.
• Excellent knowledge of AD, DNS, DHCP, LDAP.
• Expertise in network and platform operating systems.
• Experience in Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Expert experience administering Microsoft and/or VMware environments.
• Experience in project management.
