Overview

Sunbit is seeking a Regulatory Counsel to support its growing product offerings in consumer finance, providing legal and regulatory advice across various teams.

In Short

• Conduct legal research on consumer finance matters.
• Advise on consumer communication campaigns and review marketing materials.
• Collaborate with Legal & Compliance for actionable advice.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments.
• Review internal company policies related to consumer finance.
• Manage litigation matters with outside counsel.
• Oversee licensing compliance program.
• Handle various projects and assignments.

Requirements

• JD or LLM degree and active California State Bar membership.
• 3+ years of experience in consumer finance laws preferred.
• Self-starter with interest in new responsibilities.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Impeccable organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in regulated industries is a plus.
• Litigation background in consumer finance is a plus.
