Healthcare Economics Manager, Peripheral Vascular - Remote

Overview

The Healthcare Economics Manager works independently to support reimbursement and market access development, improving access for patients, providers, and payors to the organization’s technology and product portfolio.

In Short

• Educate providers and staff on payer policies and reimbursement topics.
• Develop and improve internal systems for patient access.
• Act as a liaison between sales teams and healthcare providers.
• Monitor regional policy changes and coding information.
• Provide reimbursement support and education to customers.
• Strong problem-solving and business acumen skills required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare reimbursement practices needed.
• Experience in CPT coding and surgical billing required.
• Preferred experience in medical device or biotech industries.
• Travel percentage of 10% expected.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or high school diploma with relevant experience.
• Minimum 14 years of experience without a degree, 8 years with.
• Experience with A/B MACs and Local Coverage Determinations.
• Strong background in inpatient/outpatient coding.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
