Staff Project Designer, R&D - Remote

Overview

The Staff Project Designer at Stryker will lead the development of complex operating room and critical care layouts using advanced Revit modeling techniques, significantly impacting surgical workflow and patient safety.

In Short

• Lead the development of detailed Revit models for healthcare environments.
• Collaborate with Sales, Project Engineering, and Architects.
• Maintain and enhance Revit templates and documentation workflows.
• Create and maintain parametric Revit families and components.
• Produce high-quality drawing packages and visualizations.
• Provide technical guidance to other designers.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance and accuracy in design deliverables.
• Work remotely with a preferred Central Time Zone.
• Travel percentage expected is 10%.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma with six years of CAD experience or relevant degree.
• 4+ years of professional experience using Revit.
• Strong understanding of parametric modeling principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in remote or cross-functional collaboration.
• Preferred healthcare or commercial construction experience.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination workflows.
• Experience with SolidWorks is a plus.
