Overview

The Maine Department of Labor Bureau of Unemployment Compensation is seeking detail-oriented professionals to join as Wage Fraud Investigators. This role involves investigating potential benefit overpayments to protect the Unemployment Trust Fund.

In Short

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate Degree in Criminal Justice, Law, Business, or related field
  • One year experience in criminal investigation or related field
  • In-depth knowledge of interviewing techniques
  • Clear and concise report writing skills
  • Strong oral and written presentation skills
  • Experience in adjudication, investigations, or audits preferred
  • Experience with Unemployment Insurance Claims preferred
