US Paralegal (Case Manager) - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Paralegal skilled in assisting the attorneys and managing the delivery of legal services in the office. Not only is the Paralegal responsible for supporting the attorneys but he or she shall manage an assigned group of bankruptcy cases from intake through discharge.

In Short

• Support attorneys with document organization and case management.
• Prepare Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Cases using Best Case cloud software.
• Work independently with clients on document collection.
• Communicate with clients on upcoming case status.
• File cases electronically through the ECF court filing system.
• Attend weekly team meetings and provide case status updates.
• Manage individual caseload and maintain high organization of client files.
• Prepare and service court documents as delegated by attorneys.
• Support attorneys with special projects.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and high work ethic.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Paralegal or in legal support.
• Proficiency in virtual collaboration tools and cloud-based legal software.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Compassionate approach to client needs.
• Values teamwork and maintains a professional demeanor.
