US Paralegal/Case Manager (Bankruptcy) - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Paralegal skilled in assisting the attorneys and managing the delivery of legal services in the office, particularly in bankruptcy cases.

In Short

• Support attorneys with document organization and case management.
• Prepare Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Cases using Best Case cloud software.
• Work independently with clients on document collection.
• Communicate with clients on upcoming case status.
• File cases electronically through the ECF court filing system.
• Attend weekly team meetings to provide case status updates.
• Maintain high organization of all client files.
• Manage attorney calendars and court dockets.
• Support attorneys with special projects.
• Work remotely and manage individual caseload.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Paralegal or in legal support.
• Proficiency in cloud-based legal software and electronic filing systems.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
