Overview

The Project-Based Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounts payable operations, ensuring accurate processing of financial data, and maintaining organized records using paperless systems.

• Process and review accounts payable transactions accurately.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
• Utilize paperless software (e.g., DocuWare) for document management.
• Reconcile invoices and ensure proper documentation before processing payments.
• Communicate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor and organize payable documents according to company procedures.
• Assist in research and problem-solving related to invoices.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Complete assigned tasks within required timelines.

Requirements

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Experience with paperless software programs such as DocuWare.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
• Ability to work Arizona hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, aligned with Pacific Time).
• Prior experience in an accounting department is preferred.
• 2–3 years of Accounts Payable experience.
