Accounts Payable Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Accounting team is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support LeadVenture’s rapid growth. This role is responsible for processing vendor payments, resolving invoice discrepancies, managing supplier relationships, and handling expense reports. It also contributes to month-end close activities and annual tax reporting.

In Short

• Process invoices accurately and on time.
• Review and process PO requests based on internal guidelines.
• Prepare and process the biweekly payment run.
• Review employee expense reports for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Audit and reconcile corporate credit card transactions.
• Maintain vendor files and agreements.
• Manage 1099 reporting, including year-end issuance.
• Perform cash reconciliations and monitor company cash accounts.
• Assist with month-end close activities.
• Support ongoing improvements to accounting systems and processes.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Accounting or Business (Bachelor’s preferred).
• 2–4 years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience with NetSuite and Concur is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
