Overview

The IT Service Desk Technician will act as a single point of contact for IT support issues, providing remote assistance to users across the country and ensuring efficient resolution of technical problems.

In Short

  • Provide remote IT support via phone and email.
  • Triage incoming support issues and escalate as needed.
  • Assist with Level 1 Service Desk requests.
  • Troubleshoot Tier 1 IT problems.
  • Maintain high efficiency by achieving SLAs.
  • Participate in On-Call rotation for after-hours support.
  • Utilize remote tools and ticketing systems effectively.
  • Work on special projects as defined by the Help Desk Manager.
  • Collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience in a Service Desk or Help Desk role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with remote support tools.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems like Zendesk or ServiceNow.
  • CompTIA A+ or Network+ certifications are a plus.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Minimum typing speed of 30 wpm.
