Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Customer Service Representative with strong communication skills and at least 2+ years of experience in healthcare or ophthalmology settings. This role is the frontline contact for patients, responsible for intake and outbound calls, accurate documentation, and supporting patient scheduling and service coordination.

In Short

  • Receive inbound calls from patients and providers.
  • Conduct outbound calls for appointment reminders and follow-ups.
  • Document call details and patient concerns accurately.
  • Use RingCentral to manage calls and patient information.
  • Provide information about services and office policies.
  • Assist with scheduling, rescheduling, and confirmations.
  • Escalate urgent concerns to appropriate team members.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff.
  • Handle sensitive health information with confidentiality.
  • Work in a night shift schedule (US Time).

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years customer service experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with phone systems like RingCentral.
  • Familiarity with EHR systems, especially Modernizing Medicine.
  • Knowledge of insurance verification processes.
  • Strong multitasking and note-taking skills.
  • Friendly and patient-focused demeanor.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
