Overview

We’re looking for a strategic and entrepreneurial Director of Publisher Partnerships to lead and evolve Stacker’s Distribution team. This person will oversee both business development and partner success functions and own Stacker’s rapidly scaling distribution network that today represents more than 4k+ unique publishers and news outlets.

  • Manage a lean team to support publishing partners.
  • Measure performance and guide strategic decisions.
  • Champion publisher needs in internal discussions.
  • Participate in industry events and create thought leadership.

Requirements

  • 7+ years experience in media partnerships or business development.
  • 2+ years managing and leading a team.
  • Proven ability to manage high-performers.
  • Deep understanding of digital media landscape.
  • Strong grasp of editorial and audience priorities.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable with systems like Airtable and HubSpot.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and design systems.
  • High emotional intelligence and product thinking.
  • Bias for action and adaptability.
