Payroll Specialist - Remote

Overview

SWBC is seeking a talented individual to serve as the primary SWBC PEO representative and primary contact with assigned clients and shared employees to fulfill customer service needs.

In Short

• Responsible for all aspects of payroll for assigned employees.
• Facilitates timely and accurate processing of multi-state payroll.
• Maintains payroll-related accounts and processes payroll.
• Prepares forms and enters data into payroll system.
• Interacts with clients regarding payroll questions.
• Processes garnishments and maintains payroll records.
• Ensures new hire paperwork is processed accurately.
• Maintains W-4 and I-9 documents.
• Works with clients to resolve payroll issues.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in payroll processing.
• Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) preferred.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Knowledge of Department of Labor regulations.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Able to multi-task and adapt to change.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and accuracy.
