Overview

SWBC is seeking a talented individual to perform functions associated with processing claim documents and inquiries related to insurance claims for multiple lines of business and more complex coverage types of CPI and GAP, including filing and tracking.

In Short

  • Process claim documents and inquiries related to insurance claims.
  • Identify coverage and set up new claims in the claims system.
  • Document and notate claims as necessary.
  • Handle incoming correspondence to assist lenders and borrowers.
  • Perform daily activities including maintaining daily tracker and distributing mail.
  • Handle incoming calls and gather claim information.
  • Review claims statuses and notate the claims system.
  • Reconcile weekly claim reserves and release custom reports.
  • Work independently with high self-motivation.
  • Support a winning team and provide world-class service.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in similar duties.
  • Auto insurance experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to type 45 WPM accurately.
  • Able to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
  • Able to perform sedentary activities for long periods.
  • Able to lift up to 20 lbs. of files and supplies.
