Claims Processor - Remote

Overview

The Claims Processor is responsible for researching and applying insurance payments, ensuring accurate processing of transactions while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with regulations.

In Short

• Research and apply insurance payments to appropriate invoices.
• Identify correct claims based on customer information and service codes.
• Continuously improve research methods for transaction processing.
• Minimum keystrokes per hour requirement of 10,000 with less than 2% error rate.
• Flexibility to work in both team and individual environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel applications.
• Honor high level of confidentiality and promote integrity.
• Understanding of third-party benefits and administration.
• General compliance with HIPAA and security essentials.
• Education: High school degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred.

• Working knowledge of mainframe computers and systems, specifically AS/400.
• High level of detail orientation.
• Strong work ethic and integrity.
• Familiarity with fraud, waste, and abuse prevention.
