Credentialing Associate - Remote

Overview

As a Credentialing Associate, you will play a vital role in helping mental health providers get credentialed with insurance payors—especially Medicare and commercial plans—so they can begin delivering care quickly and effectively.

• Act as the credentialing point of contact for providers and insurance payors.
• Prepare, submit, and track credentialing applications using systems like PECOS.
• Perform primary source verification for licenses and certifications.
• Assist providers with their CAQH profiles.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve credentialing issues.
• Maintain up-to-date records for provider demographics.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience credentialing healthcare providers.
• Experience with primary source verification and compliance standards.
• Proficiency with PECOS and CAQH systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable navigating multiple systems and databases.
• Results-driven with a commitment to accuracy.
