Overview

The Credentialing Associate plays a vital role in helping mental health providers get credentialed with insurance payors, ensuring they can deliver care effectively.

In Short

• Act as the credentialing point of contact for providers and insurance payors.
• Prepare, submit, and track credentialing applications.
• Perform primary source verification for licenses and certifications.
• Assist providers with their CAQH profiles.
• Collaborate to resolve provider or payor issues.
• Maintain up-to-date records for provider demographics.
• Communicate with providers and partners throughout the process.
• Proactively address delays with external payors.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented with a structured approach.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Motivated to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working across multiple systems.
• Experience with credentialing for Medicare providers preferred.
• Hands-on experience with primary source verification preferred.
