Credentialing Associate - Remote

Overview

As a Credentialing Associate, you will play a vital role in helping mental health providers get credentialed with insurance payors, especially Medicare and commercial plans, ensuring they can deliver care quickly and effectively.

In Short

• Act as the credentialing point of contact for assigned providers and insurance payors.
• Prepare, submit, and track credentialing applications using systems such as PECOS.
• Perform primary source verification for licenses and certifications.
• Assist providers with their CAQH profiles.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve credentialing issues.
• Maintain up-to-date records for provider demographics and licensure.
• Communicate with providers and partners throughout the credentialing process.
• Partner with external payors to address delays or missing information.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented with a structured approach to work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Motivated to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working across multiple systems.
• Experience with Medicare credentialing and PECOS is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with primary source verification is preferred.
