Overview

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing on-site customer support for SolarEdge products installed in the field, ensuring proper operation and troubleshooting of solar energy systems.

In Short

  • Provide troubleshooting and diagnosis support for solar inverter issues.
  • Develop solutions for technical problems and advise customers on equipment operation.
  • Engage with installers and customers to grow relationships and provide training.
  • Support customer service, sales, and marketing activities.
  • Document all activities in CRM and provide comprehensive reports.
  • Travel to provide service or emergency repairs as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of regulatory codes and electrical standards.
  • Must be flexible for all shifts and capable of significant travel.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication.
  • Technical knowledge of SolarEdge products is a plus.

Requirements

  • Preferred degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC and PV system regulatory codes.
  • 2+ years in a technical role with customer-facing experience.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Spanish bilingual proficiency is a plus.
