Field Service Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a competent and loyal ambassador for Syntegon in your region, Italy, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding service to our customers on site, including installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and training on Syntegon packaging machines.

In Short

• Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs on customer machines.
• Provide support during machine downtime, both on-site and via phone.
• Present service products and advise customers on advantages and disadvantages.
• Participate in training courses to develop technical skills.
• Support machine acceptance tests at the factory and customer sites.
• Train customers on the operation and safety of machines.

Requirements

• Completed technical vocational training in relevant fields.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Mechanical and/or electrical knowledge.
• Experience with control systems is an advantage.
• Good English language skills and effective communication.
• Willingness to travel for business trips.
