Senior Buyer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Buyer is responsible for purchasing related to machine and parts procurement, conducting analysis on procurement solutions, and ensuring supplier performance.

• Responsible for machine and parts procurement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of purchasing experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read technical/engineering drawings.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of production inputs, outputs, and quality control.
• APICS CPIM certification is a plus.
• Experience with SAP in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strategic thinking for improved procurement planning.
• Negotiation skills with suppliers.
