In Short

  • Represent John Crane at key customers in the NRW region
  • Manage and advise the existing customer base while monitoring the market for new application areas for John Crane products
  • Provide technical advice to customers
  • Acquire new customers
  • Create calculations and offers
  • Conduct contract negotiations and offer discussions
  • Budget planning and preparation of monthly and quarterly reports
  • Monthly order intake forecasts and propose measures to achieve planned figures
  • Regular reporting in the CRM system

Requirements

  • Completed technical or business education (Bachelor, Technician or comparable education)
  • Relevant professional experience in technical sales with a hands-on mentality
  • Knowledge of the sealing and/or pump industry or in the field of rotating equipment is an advantage
  • Strong customer and service orientation
  • Sales skills
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 70%)
  • IT skills (SAP, Microsoft Office 365)
  • Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
