Senior Data Scientist - Remote

Overview

Smartsheet is looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist to drive help guide analyses, create predictive and prescriptive insights, and influence decisions. You will work primarily with Marketing and Engineering and will be a part of Smartsheet's Business Intelligence team.

In Short

• Leverage data analytics and machine learning techniques to inform product development.
• Partner with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to draw relevant insights.
• Understand customer needs and design metrics for product optimization.
• Conduct experiments to measure the impact of product changes.
• Complete the full analytics lifecycle from business objectives to reporting.
• Present analysis and data-based recommendations to teams.
• Drive a data culture within the Product, UX, and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience or 6+ years of experience.
• Extensive knowledge in product analytics, machine learning, and statistics.
• Proficient analytical skills for various types of analysis.
• Good programming skills in Python or R.
• Proficient in SQL and skilled in visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
• Experience using data to impact product and strategy.
• Ability to communicate analysis clearly to others.
