Overview

The Manager/Senior Manager, Business Development role focuses on supporting the firm’s business development strategies and initiatives, particularly in the areas of Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits, Public Company Advisory Practice, and Intellectual Property.

In Short

  • Collaborate with the Business Development Senior Team and Firm Partners.
  • Prepare materials about the Firm’s practice areas and lawyers.
  • Conduct research and analysis on clients and competitors.
  • Draft pitch and proposal materials.
  • Manage directory submissions and survey responses.
  • Maintain website content and Partner biographies.
  • Oversee creation of promotional materials.
  • Support Firm-sponsored events and presentations.
  • Foster relationships with stakeholders across departments.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferred in Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellence.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and web-based research.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience in marketing and business development at a law firm preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems preferred.
