Director of Revenue/Technical Accounting - Remote

Overview

The Director of Revenue/Technical accounting will report to the VP, Controller and play a key role within the Accounting organization. You will primarily be responsible for the Company’s revenue recognition, technical accounting, and financial reporting.

In Short

• Manage the revenue close and reporting processes.
• Maintain revenue controls and implement new ones.
• Determine revenue recognition policy for new products.
• Collaborate with business operations for accurate customer invoicing.
• Manage Capitalized Internal Software process.
• Oversee commissions process and ASC 340 policy.
• Handle state sales tax process and reconciliations.
• Assist with lender and financial reporting.
• Lead purchase accounting.
• Implement new sales tax software.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 9 years of related experience.
• CPA license preferred.
• 6+ years of high volume transaction experience.
• Prior high-growth experience in a PLG.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606.
• Experience preparing technical accounting memos.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
