DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

SimplePractice is seeking an experienced and innovative DevOps engineer with experience on AWS to maintain and administer multiple products within our AWS cloud infrastructure.

In Short

• Deliver DevOps assigned stories and tasks timely while ensuring quality and security of each release
• Build, configure and improve infrastructure
• Configure and maintain infrastructure elements using configuration tools such as Ansible and Terraform
• Work on maintaining and configuring containers
• Collaborate with the Lead DBA for MySQL database maintenance
• Work with the information security team to mitigate vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Science teams for data platform implementation

Requirements

• AWS cloud experience (console and cli)
• Solid Linux knowledge
• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (Ruby, Python, Bash)
• Basic knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL)
• Experience with containerization platforms and tools
• IaaC knowledge such as Terraform or CloudFormation
