Join the largest independent Medical Waste Service Provider in the country for an exciting opportunity to expand Sharps Medical Waste Services’ footprint across the MidAtlantic region by driving new business development and managing existing accounts within hospitals and healthcare organizations.

In Short

  • Role involves driving the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
  • Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Manage and grow existing accounts by identifying expansion opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, and EHS teams.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and track sales activities.
  • Leverage market insights and industry trends.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of successful B2B field sales experience in healthcare or environmental services.
  • Proven track record of managing complex sales cycles.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to learn industry-specific knowledge quickly.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned region (approximately 25%).
