Overview

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) generates revenue utilizing a consultative selling approach, cultivating new business opportunities and developing long-term business partnerships within the food industry.

In Short

  • Achieves sales revenue goals in a defined sales territory.
  • Responsible for all sales activities to include audits, training and full solutions within the Southeastern US territory.
  • Develops and implements business/marketing plans to expand customer base.
  • Works with sales and support teams to achieve customer satisfaction and revenue generation.
  • Maintains a database of qualified leads in the CRM system.
  • Generates proposals in compliance with requirements.
  • Maximizes opportunities within the sales process.
  • Maintains accurate records of sales and prospecting activities.
  • Creates effective proposal presentations and RFP responses.
  • Participates in the development of educational programs for clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales.
  • Experience with ISO standards.
  • Strong sales skills with a focus on achieving goals.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to build successful business relationships.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Effective team player.
  • Resilient and persistent in closing deals.
