Senior Software Engineer, Data Platform - Remote

Overview

As a Sr. Software Engineer, Data Platform at SentiLink, you will own the data infrastructure components that support the SentiLink suite of products, working with various teams to enhance and modify the data platform that powers our fraud detection products.

• Build, expand, and optimize data infrastructure for accurate identity datasets.
• Develop secure, scalable data ingestion and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Design and maintain a data observability framework.
• Optimize data storage layer for fast data access.

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices.

• Develop expertise in identity fraud domain.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software or data engineering.
• Proficient in Python or Golang and related technologies.
• Expertise in building ETL/ELT pipelines with distributed processing technologies.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS.
• Deep understanding of database technologies including RDBMS and NoSQL.
• Experience building scalable, containerized data services.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code and DevOps practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a scrum/Agile environment.
• Bonus points for experience with Spark/EMR and fintech startups.
