In Short

  • We are looking for an experienced Federal Sales Leader to join our team.
  • The AVP Federal at Semperis will be a key part of the Sales Leadership team.
  • Create and implement a strategic sales plan to grow revenue and market share within federal government agencies.
  • Build the Federal Sales Practice for Semperis, leading a small founding Federal Sales Team.
  • Identify target agencies and key opportunities to drive business growth.
  • Work with Federal focused VARs, distributors and SIs to develop relationships.
  • Lead, recruit and mentor a high performing team.
  • Meet and exceed federal sales revenue targets.
  • Provide accurate weekly forecasts to senior management.
  • Build strong internal collaborative relationships with various teams.

Requirements

  • 10+ years minimum experience in federal sales DOD, Intelligence, Civilian government sectors.
  • 3+ years as a leader of a high performing Federal Sales team.
  • Cybersecurity/Identity Industry background required.
  • Start up experience and/or experience building and leading new teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the federal sector.
  • Strong sales methodology and forecasting skills.
  • Deep understanding of federal procurement processes.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior government officials.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
