Overview

The Oregon Department of Emergency Management (OEM) is excited to announce a new opportunity for a Disaster Recovery Program Manager (Operations and Policy Analyst 4) to join our team! This position leads statewide recovery operations and serves as a senior policy advisor on recovery policies, programs, and legislation, driving improvements across multiple state agencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience.
  • Five years of professional-level experience in emergency management.
  • Proven ability to lead complex recovery initiatives.
  • Strong skills in policy design and implementation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to assess situations and implement effective solutions.
  • Experience in strategic planning and project management.
  • Proactive approach to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
