Overview

The Regional Health and Safety Manager at Saputo is responsible for implementing and sustaining health and safety management programs across multiple plants, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a safe work environment.

In Short

• Implement and sustain health and safety programs.
• Direct health and safety activities for assigned plants.
• Provide technical training on health and safety.
• Conduct audits and inspections of plant activities.
• Assist with plant incident reports and investigations.
• Develop health and safety champions within plants.
• Support environmental and risk management initiatives.
• Maintain knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Provide leadership in health and safety matters.
• Travel frequently (up to 60%) for plant support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in safety management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of health and safety managerial experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to train and motivate others.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency.
• Business knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to conceptualize and lead change initiatives.
