Overview

The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) plays a key role in driving growth and building long-term partnerships within the team sports market for SanMar Sports.

  • Drive growth and build partnerships in the team sports market.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify new business opportunities.
  • Sell SanMar’s value proposition through targeted presentations.
  • Build strong customer relationships with executives and managers.
  • Act as the customer’s advocate for improvements.
  • Negotiate and implement pricing and product programs.
  • Keep Salesforce updated with key activities.
  • Develop impactful sales and marketing plans.
  • Work with analytics team to analyze sales data.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4-6 years of strategic or territory sales experience.
  • Travel 2-3 weeks per month for meetings and presentations.
  • Must live within 30 miles of a Major International Airport.
  • Ability to build partnerships and communicate effectively.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • High degree of professionalism and integrity.
  • Must be enthusiastic and outgoing.
  • Exceptional organization and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
