Resale Compliance Representative - Remote

Overview

A Resale Compliance Representative provides excellent customer service while ensuring that customer accounts are in compliance with states' regulations for resale certificates. The Resale Compliance Representative position is a high-volume customer contact position, as they assist customers in renewing their resale certificates on file with SanMar. They assist customers with the completion of state forms, answer questions, and provide resource tools. Their work impacts customers' taxable status and contributes to SanMar's successful completion of various state resale audits.

In Short

• Ensure compliance with state requirements and process resale renewals.
• Monitor incoming communications and route appropriately.
• Update customer information within 24 hours of receipt.
• Assist customers with resale issues and renewals.
• Meet deadlines for monthly state resale renewal projects.
• Maintain and update customer software and information systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.

Requirements

• 0-1 years of customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Ability to learn new processes and retain information.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible with change.

Benefits

• Salary range: $20.29 - $25.00 (WA, NJ); $18.67 - $23.00 (MN, NV, TX, VA); $17.45 - $21.50 (AZ, ID, FL, MT, OH, TN).
