COB Representative - Remote

Overview

The COB Representative is responsible for investigating potential recoveries for Coordination of Benefits through various communication methods and managing inquiries related to claims and eligibility.

In Short

• Identify recovery opportunities within the Department.
• Review and process COB claims for members with other insurance.
• Manage communications with internal and external customers.
• Research and resolve Medicare Secondary Payer cases.
• Coordinate recoveries per federal regulations.
• Process Credit Balance claims and refund checks.

• Work within standard business hours in Eastern time.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of coordination of benefits or healthcare-related experience.
