Payroll Manager - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Payroll Manager to join our team on a maternity contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the payroll function, ensuring the accurate and timely payment of salaries in accordance with government legislation and organisational timetables.

In Short

• Manage the payroll function for the organization.
• Ensure timely payment of salaries.
• Responsible for 9 monthly UK payrolls.
• Handle month end reporting and year end procedures.
• Manage HMRC submissions.
• Resolve payroll disputes.
• Oversee bonus and pay review adjustments.
• Mentor the payroll coordinator.
• Detail-oriented and experienced in payroll management.
• Preferred CIPP qualification or relevant experience.

Requirements

• CIPP Qualification (preferred) or relevant experience.
• Experience with Sage 50 payroll.
• In-depth knowledge of payroll calculation and processing.
• Personable and approachable individual.
• Ability to manage payroll discrepancies confidently.
• Leadership skills to mentor the payroll coordinator.
