Payroll Manager - Remote

Overview

Serve Robotics is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to own and manage all payroll processing for both hourly and salaried U.S. employees, as well as all international payroll cycles. This role is critical in ensuring timely and accurate payroll operations, compliance with tax regulations, and seamless collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

In Short

• Own and manage end-to-end payroll processing for U.S. and international payroll cycles.
• Partner with the Equity Manager to process equity payroll for equity-related transactions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Handle all quarterly and year-end payroll tax reporting.
• Conduct payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage relationships with third-party payroll providers.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries.
• Stay updated with changing payroll and tax regulations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing and processing payroll.
• 2+ years of equity compensation tax compliance.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll tax laws.
• Proficiency in payroll systems (Rippling or similar).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
