This role is an Australia-based, fully work-from-home position, with access to co-working spaces in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

• Keep payroll data secure, accurate, and up to date while assisting in system improvements.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing payroll team.

Requirements

• Expertise in payroll practices, procedures, and legislation.
• Experience processing weekly and monthly payroll for 500+ employees.
• Proficiency with Employment Hero and strong MS Excel skills.
• A background in Finance, Economics, Business, or Financial Services is advantageous.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and empower a team.
• Bachelor Degree in Finance or Economics, Certificate III in Business or Certificate III in Financial Services can be advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to investigate issues and find solutions.
• High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive payroll information.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a broader team.
