Payroll Manager - Remote

Overview

Chronosphere is seeking a passionate, analytical, detailed oriented and experienced Payroll Manager to oversee end-to-end payroll operations for our workforce of about 280+ employees across multiple US States and International locations.

In Short

• Manage all aspects of payroll processing and submissions for 280+ employees.
• Stay up to date with local tax laws and labor regulations.
• Manage relationships with EOR and ensure timely submission of variable pay.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll including salary, bonuses, and deductions.
• Oversee compliance with federal, state, and international payroll tax regulations.
• Coordinate with managers to ensure timekeeping records are submitted on time.
• Support the 401(k) administrative function and audits.
• Lead year-end processes including W-2 generation and distribution.
• Provide excellent support to employees regarding payroll inquiries.
• Support ad-hoc projects as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of payroll management experience, including multi-state payroll.
• Experience managing relationships with EOR.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll tax regulations.
• Experience with payroll audits and compliance reviews.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with Payroll systems.
