Technical Service Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer to join our team, specialized in the Troubleshooting of field complaint and perform installation, commissioning and maintenance of Wabtec systems.

In Short

• Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of Wabtec systems in rolling stock.
• Troubleshoot and resolve field complaints related to Wabtec systems.
• Support the installation and commissioning of Wabtec products.
• Perform retrofit, maintenance, and emergency repairs on Wabtec products.
• Document field interventions and report to the manager.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and spare parts data.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding issues and resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Promote environmentally compliant work practices.
• Collaborate with multiple departments and take initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar field service role.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Technical experience with rolling stock products.
• Ability to learn IT systems for monitoring locomotives.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Good attitude and interpersonal relationship skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Agility to adapt to new environments and business strategies.
