Technical Service Engineer - Remote

This is a road warrior position. Candidate must be able to service the Greater Cincinnati, Ohio, area.

In Short

• Ability to diagnose software and hardware problems effectively.
• Responsible for logging service calls in Salesforce.
• Remote phone support when not traveling.
• Escalate tier 2/3 issues to the support specialist.
• Work closely with distributors on parts orders and technical assistance.
• On-site installations and support required, with overnight travel exceeding 75%.
• Assist customers with configuration and programming of equipment.
• Train distributors and customers on the use of equipment.
• Exceed customer satisfaction objectives.
• Self-motivated to work independently.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Computer Technologies or applicable experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in electronic and PC technologies.
• Support knowledge of SQL, Windows Active Directory, Networking, Windows Server.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to read schematics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer relations and phone skills.
• Competency in various software applications including MSOffice.
• PC applications support experience.
