Overview

The Technical Specialist for Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) will provide expert technical support to the APAC Solar and Storage Operations & Maintenance (O&M) department, enhancing service delivery through remote and on-site assistance.

In Short

Remote work opportunity | 40 hours per week
Base yourself in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane
Provide technical support for solar and battery storage assets
Enhance operational service delivery
Conduct training and documentation updates
Lead safety culture and compliance
Collaborate across regions and departments
Assist in incident investigations and procedure improvements
Act as a qualified supervisor for designated states
Engage in continuous personal and professional development

Requirements

Diploma/degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Electrical License for the relevant state
Full Australian driving license
Strong safety mindset
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
Experience in solar PV O&M
Knowledge of APAC Health & Safety legislation
Experience with SCADA and data monitoring
Desirable experience in battery storage installation
Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
