Director of Projects - Solar - Remote

Overview

The Director, Projects is responsible for managing all aspects of planning, engineering, implementing, and overseeing multiple EPC and/or BOP projects in the solar energy sector.

• Manage planning, engineering, and implementation of multiple EPC projects.
• Lead a team of project managers to ensure project delivery on scope, schedule, and budget.
• Oversee a portfolio of utility-scale EPC projects.
• Ensure projects meet administrative and technical direction.
• Develop effective working relationships with subcontractors and clients.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Manage project budgets and financial performance.
• Conduct risk management processes.
• Mentor project managers and improve team performance.
• Support business development efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• 6+ years of EPC experience in Wind, Solar, or T&D.
• 3+ years in a Director level position preferred.
• 8+ years of project management experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in contract management and negotiation.
• Ability to travel domestically between 31% - 50%.
• Advanced knowledge in solar and wind construction planning.
• Intermediate skills in civil and electrical engineering.
